Jotun has decided to exit Russia
Jotun has sold its interests in Russia and leaves the country. The employees will keep their jobs in the company under a new owner.
The flood in Pakistan is causing an enormous humanitarian crisis. Jotun has donated NOK 1 million to Red Cross/Red Crescent’s work in the country.
The situation in Pakistan is dramatic. Nearly 1400 people have died, and more than 33 million people have been affected by the worst flood in ten years.
According to Red Cross Norway, more than 1.5 million houses are destroyed and over 700 000 livestock have been lost. Bridges, roads and other infrastructure have also been swept away by the water masses.
Hundreds of thousands of Pakistanis are flocking to emergency camps and solid structures in the affected areas. Red Cross/Red Crescent has established mobile health clinics that are of great help for the many affected. The donation from Jotun will contribute with health care, medicine and clean water.

Jotun Group (Norway) and Med Investment Holding Spa (Algeria) concluded and executed a partnership agreement for producing Jotun paint and coatings in Algeria through a joint venture with Technover P.
Jotun increased its revenue by 14 per cent to NOK 8 459 million in the first four months of 2022. Record-high raw material prices weakened the operating profit compared to the same period last year.
