Jotun partners with Federation of European Tank Storage Association
Choosing the right lining for a tank so it remains in peak condition for as long as possible can be a complex matter. There are lots of things to consider.
Jotun, an acknowledged leader in providing protective coatings to the chemical and oil & gas industries, has supplied innovative, high-performance solutions to customers in these specialized markets for more than three decades.
Jotun now joins the Federation of European Tank Storage Association (FETSA). This trade association represents European national tank storage associations and companies that operate in bulk liquid storage. FETSA represents over 140 companies operating approximately 700 terminals across Europe.
“For us in Jotun, it’s a quite natural step. We have been in the Tank Lining business since 1970, focusing in the early years on Epoxy technologies and Vinyl Esters to store everything from clean petroleum products to advanced chemicals. Utilising the most modern technologies and well-proven products, Jotun has formulated solutions that can bring your tanks back into service quicker than ever before with excellent chemical resistance and a proven track record. By joining FETSA, we can be even closer to the industry and together - innovate for the future,” says Gard Reian, Chief Chemist at Jotun.
“We also provide technical support to coating projects with worldwide available, experienced Coating Advisors and Technical Support Engineers for both coating application and in-service stages. Hence, we believe we’ll be a valuable partner for FETSA and its members,” adds Jon Salhus, Regional Technical Sales Support Director.
To ensure you get the maximum storage capacity from your tank, and avoid product contamination, it is important to ensure you are choosing the correct tank lining.
