Jotamastic 90 is a tintable surface-tolerant abrasion resistant epoxy mastic primer designed for maintenance and repair. It contributes to green building rating points by meeting the requirements for IEQ under LEED 2009, and EQ and MR under LEED v4, Mat 01 under BREEAM International (2016) and Hea 02 under BREEAM International (2013).
Jotamastic 90 product is tintable in a wide range of colours in Jotun's Multicolor Industry (MCI) system. It is specially designed for areas where optimum surface preparation is not possible or required and provides long-lasting protection in environments with high corrosivity. It can be used as a primer, midcoat, finish coat or as a single-coat system in atmospheric and immersed environments. Jotamastic 90 is suitable for use on properly prepared carbon steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel, aluminium, concrete and a range of aged coating surfaces. It can be applied at sub-zero surface temperatures.
Pre-qualified in accordance with NORSOK M-501 in selected systems.
Tested in accordance to LEED®.
Tested in accordance to BREEAM®.
Certified in accordance with IMO Res.288(87) – PSPC Crude Oil Tanks.
