The award was presented today at an event organized by Innovation Norway and Eksfin (Export Financing Norway). Of course, we are proud to receive this award; not least considering the times we live in, where collaboration and value creation across borders are more important than ever.

This year’s winner has over time demonstrated unique industrial expertise. The company has experienced strong growth and left a clear mark on both its local market at home and in its global markets. The winner of the Export Award 2025 is Jotun,” to quote parts of the jury’s statement, presented by the Norwegian Minister of Trade and Industry, Cecilie Myrseth.

100 years of creating solutions

Next year, we in Jotun will celebrate our 100th anniversary. From the humble beginnings back home in Sandefjord, we have grown to become an international market leader with 10,606 employees and 40 factories spread across the world.

"I think it's great that this award can go to a company that not only exports goods but delivers technology and expertise to the entire world. Now I am first and foremost proud on behalf of all my colleagues. Thank you very much," said President and CEO Morten Fon in his acceptance speech.
