Since its introduction in 1994, the NORSOK Standard M-501 has gained validity as a documentation method for coating systems used on offshore structures. Jotun’s suite of NORSOK documented systems has been tested and pre-qualified, and includes coatings with a 25-year performance track record.

Carbon steel with operating temperature > 120°C. – All insulated surfaces of tanks, vessels, piping. – Flare booms and crane booms. Optional: Underside of bottom deck including piping, jacket above splash zone, lifeboat stations.

Stainless steel, aluminium, galvanised steel.

Bulk-supplied carbon steel valves with operating temperature up to 150°C.
